Today marks the start of the 2026–2027 Junior Tennis Season at Baywood Racquet Club, and we are excited to welcome our young players back onto the courts for what promises to be another fantastic year of tennis.
Our junior program continues to be an important part of the Baywood community. Whether a player is picking up a racquet for the first time, looking to improve their game, or developing towards competitive tennis, our goal is to provide an environment where every young player can learn, improve, compete and, most importantly, enjoy the sport.
Throughout the new season, our coaching team will be working with players on all aspects of their development — from technique, movement and match play to confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship. We want every junior who steps onto the courts at Baywood to feel that they are progressing while also being part of a welcoming and supportive tennis community.
Help Us Spread the Word
As the new season begins, we would love the help of our Baywood members, parents, families and friends.
Some of the best ambassadors for our junior program are the families who are already part of it. If you know a young person who might enjoy tennis, please tell them about Baywood. Invite a school friend, neighbor, teammate or family member to come along and discover the game.
You don’t need to already be a tennis player to get started. Every player starts somewhere, and introducing a child to tennis today could be the beginning of a sport they enjoy for many years to come.
The stronger our junior program becomes, the more opportunities we can create for coaching, match play, teams, social tennis and competition — while continuing to build the next generation of Baywood players.
