Since joining the coaching team this spring, Alex Loope has quickly become a valued member of the Baywood Racquet Club community.
Bringing an excellent playing background from his time competing at Division I Davidson College, along with several years of coaching experience, Alex has brought plenty of energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to the courts at Baywood.
Over the past few months, Alex has worked with players of all ages and abilities through private lessons, adult clinics and Baywood’s junior programs. His positive coaching style, attention to detail and ability to connect with players have helped both adults and juniors make real progress towards their individual tennis goals.
For our junior players, Alex has been a great addition to the coaching team, encouraging them to work hard, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy their tennis. With our adult players, he has been equally committed to helping members improve their technique, tactics and confidence on court.
Baywood’s coaching philosophy has always been about helping every player achieve their own goals while enjoying the game, and Alex has embraced that approach from day one.
Just as importantly, Alex has fitted seamlessly into the Baywood team. His enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to get involved have made him a popular presence around the club.
We’re delighted to have Alex as part of the Baywood Racquet Club team and look forward to seeing the impact he continues to make on our players and programs in the months and years ahead.
